2P1 GROUP 2 HUNTED FINAL from Long Road Applied Media Diploma on Vimeo.
At the beginning of the video you can hear the foot steps we included that in the video because this shows adds an excitement to the video and makes it bit more interesting, also when the character is first presented you can only see her feet's and as she walk to ward the door then gradually you start to see the back of the character this grabs attention to the audience and makes it questionable of what's going to happen next.
as the character walks through the door she is presented to the audience this means by having the camera looking at her and the other character 2 is presented as to having her head back to the camera this shows that there's something going on and the audiences try to work it out.
as the two characters have a conversation you can see the each character every time they talk the camera is facing them and showing them and this it more interesting and looks bit more professional, as the characters continue to have their conversation you an hear some noises at the background this was not on purpose because it shows that it was shot in black area and it was edited to a point but over edited.
as the characters walked off you can hear hear a music in the back ground this adds an excitement and makes the audience feel like there's something to come and sound is very hunted if you like and it kind of works with the video and because it's questionable and it's almost like they are walking off what`'s happening why's the music playing at the background so it kinder makes you want to continue watching the video.
as they walk off you there's a long shot of them the two characters walking we wanted to show clear shot of what was going on and not just having to cut clips bit by bit and also this shows that the camera did good job because at the same time the camera was hold still while shooting a long shot from a long distance.
then the two characters are presented sitting down and talking once again about the patient this shoot wasn't what we expected mainly because we did not follow the 180 degree rule and it all came down to the editing and again the editor had to work and make sure the audience will at least not notice about that and make it believeble that it was filmed in the 180 degree rule.
as the two characters we still having the conversation about the patient the room that we had to take the shoot in was quite dark therefore we didn't quite get the right brightness we needed for the camera so wen it came to the editing it has to be made all bright and trim's were made and cuts this took us some time but we made i happen so hopefully it it not noticed.
as the character walk up the stairs she is presented as walking to ward the camera we thought it was good idea to have the camera looking down on her as this would have some affects and give a clue to the audience of what to come next also add bit more drama into the shoot, the music was also played as she walks up the stairs again this leads back to the where the two characters were walking off and again it just makes you wonder is something going to happen and the stairs with the camera facing her gives a bad sign and music is gradually first and beats has a dramatic affect to it.
as we filmed a conversation once again we failed to follow the 180 degree rule again and this happens a lot but it all lies in the editing again and if you can make it look believeble so that the audience doesn't notice a things this shows some next level editing courage and risk not to go out and film it again is a big risk and just try and edited without knowing weather the audience will notice or not.
the patience get angry and starts to loose control we wish we had made more angry and there was more drama into her anger in order to make it more dramatic, as the characters is grabbed and taken down the stairs we hear screaming this is was done because thought it would give the audience some sort of believe that this is real and it could happen also in the real world, as but also has to tone it down because we didn't want to make the audience unconfotable so there was a point in the editing where we had to edit some bit out to make less noise and just cut some things out.
as the character was shoved in the cupboard there was no noise we can hear this silence in the background this made it a dramatic silence this shows that something has happen and all this time the music and the camera was following the character finally had revealed why.
as the patient works out she suddenly is disguised and has a uniform on this makes it highly dramatic and gives attention to the viewers on what was not expected because not much words was spoken by the patient so this shows that this is what she was planning on doing.
