2P1 Rami - 'BOMB!' SHORT FILM 2012 from Long Road Applied Media Diploma on Vimeo.

to make the bomb video we had to go out in groups and film a place in long road that we wanted to blow up, we choose a place that we thought  would made sense to blow up  because the  bomb was in  the car park so we kind off choose the car park to blow up just so that it  seemed  more real but also the task was  to choose two other places and we choose the entrance of the reception because it was near to the car park and the quad this is two make a contrast of the places blowing up bit by bit and this shows how far the bomb exploded.
To film this part we went out with camera and tripod we filmed three different locations in a still shots for three minutes this.

Action sequence

This caption shows the action of the bomb sequence, it was quite challenging because this time, we have to come up with everything this means by planning the story by our self and also deciding what types of shots and camera angles we wanted to use.
I found  this challenge quite difficult because it was the first time where we didn't have to follow instruction this was completely down to us and how we wanted it go and end up.
But again by working in groups it made it easier because we gave each other ideas and listened to each other to complete the task, and also we had similar ideas and we knew where we wanted to begin with the shots and end it.
Filming this shots were very hard, this is because it wasn't quite the weather i was expecting, and this made it very difficult, the rain was very heavy and we couldn't really film the places and the way we planned it .
we had to go back and film the action part because we didn't feel like we had enough happening, and this happened after weekend so Monday we finished off filming and there was no complaining from the group we just knew what we had to go and the task so we got on with.

the phone call

The screen grab shows the phone call sequence, this is two characters a conversation in two different locations, in order to produce this we had to film every character in their location and the second character in their location and then at the end combine this two tapes and and put as a timeline also make sure they are in order.
It was easy to do this task because we had to make sure we drew a plan for it this is to make it clear for audiences and as witch made it easier because all we had to do is to follow what we already produced in the class
Working as a group made it very easy because we gave each other opinions and worked along side with one another, using the camera was easy because one of people in my group had already known how to use it so we just let him take in charge of the camera and he was really good.

And also this made it easy because then each person volunteered in what they do best and it was fun filming it because we didn't take to seriously we were trying to be professional but at the same time to have fun.

bomb sequence meeting

This screen grab shows that two characters having a conversation about where to place a bomb.

Doing this task we needed work as a group and make sure our mission was complete, we had to make a plan at first and make sure this pictures and our plan made sense before anything else.

Then the next thing we needed  was to make a dialogue of our own and act it out before filming it and this was easy because we worked as a team and made sure we did everything right.

The next thing we did was to film it, filming was alright it was much better than the 'phone call' because this time we had much experience with the camera and made sure didn't do a lot of tapes that we didn't need.

I was very happy with this tapes because I feel like I took it very seriously there was less laughing and it was definitely more professional.

having other props there like table, lap top, clip board all this made it kinder of real and gave mea bit of taste what it could be like in real life.

I think the only part I found hard was putting the sequence together because their was certain close up of the two characters and this made me a bit confused of how many close ups were there, but that was all the rest was easy and fun.

horror stills rami

2P1 HORROR STILLS - Rami from Long Road Applied Media Diploma on Vimeo.

when when the shots of this video there was a lot of ideas in everyones head and we knew that we had to make it simple and creative.
to edit this video i found a bit hard because my skills in photoshop isn't that good but learning quick is what i had to do in order to make sure that i was in same page with everyone else.
using garage was the part i found easy because i like music and i knew instantly what kinder of music i wanted t use in my horror still video and it made it easier because we had so many choices ad this meant that there was a lot more options for the video and it made it more exciting to make the video for the horror stills.
